In depth

Verdict

ACEY MILAN is a full brother to one winning jumper and a half-brother to three others. He was the only one backed against impressive winner Volcano at Exeter and led until approaching the final furlong so there’s every chance he can go one better here. Grand Sancy is likely to be suited by the step up in distance having finished fourth at Market Rasen in October. Bard Of Brittany, Copperhead and Kingofthecotswolds are all newcomers worth a market check.
