Verdict

TREVELYN’S CORN would have gone very close to beating three previous winners at Ascot in November had he jumped the last cleanly. He’s been off the track since but looks another nice prospect for Ditcheat and could have too much for these. Sojourn has a nice pedigree for jumping and has already shown plenty of ability in bumpers so any market support should be taken seriously but Marcel Debruxelles has managed only one win on the Flat so far and is going jumping late in life. Colditz Castle may do better in handicaps and a similar comment applies to Manvers House. Stop The World, on the other hand, looks a chaser in the making.
