A maximum field for a very ordinary handicap. DR OAKLEY is the obvious starting point having got off the mark over a slightly longer trip here eight days ago. He carries a penalty but the opposition features with few with scope for improvement. However, True Thoughts is only 2lb higher than when successful over track and trip in November and has had wind surgery since disappointing at Uttoxeter. Candyman Can hasn’t been in bad form recently but is now 0-14 over hurdles. Harry Haze is less exposed and looked to be on the way back at Exeter so is probably a bigger danger than No No Tonic.
