Verdict

Eros has yet to win a race but has proved quite consistent since switching to fences and should make the frame again at least in a race that won’t take much winning. But all eyes are likely to be on ALBERIC, who finally came good over hurdles at Huntingdon at the 12th attempt – his dam won twice over fences in France. There is little among the opposition to cause concern if the latter's jumping proves up to scratch.
