Plenty of interesting sorts from top yards who do well in bumpers in a contest where the market should prove instructive. Dark Invader, representing the champion trainer, Rosemary Russet for Harry Fry and Understatement for Warren Greatrex should all be tracked in the betting on their respective debuts along with Anthony Honeyball's newcomer Sam Brown, for whom Noel Fehily is an eye-catching booking. Those with racecourse experience have shown enough to be of interest too though with COGBURN, a staying-on third on his Warwick debut, making most appeal and given the nod. He seems sure to progress considerably for that promising debut. Celebre D'allen, Lalor, Victarion and Chief Sittingbull are all capable of improving on debut efforts and taking a hand in what looks a very open affair.
