SWEET MARY M failed to figure in a tougher contest at Sam Houston last month but will be more at home in this grade and a bold bid is expected. Shanghai Sally was also well beaten at Houston recently but that was on the Turf and she’s preferred to the more exposed Eutychia back on this surface. The latter could still be in the mix judged on last year’s placed efforts with Mighty Heidi looking best of the remainder despite returning from a lay-off.
