Verdict

JUDGEMENT DAY, a winning point-to-pointer, makes his debut over regulation fences and his form in bumpers and over hurdles suggests he can make a successful start. Matin D'Anjou has run four times over fences and was narrowly beaten in the last two. He ran poorly over hurdles at Limerick last time but can do much better and is likely to take advantage if the selection's jumping isn't up to scratch. The remainder look moderate though winning bumper Double Portrait may do better now tackling fences.
