LIFT THE GLOOM was having his first start since January when runner-up at Down Royal early last month and produced another very good run at Dundalk two weeks ago. He looks ready for this as it's difficult to know what to make of Danick Of Time, whose last six runs have come on the Polytrack surface at Dundalk. The Reek showed her first real sign of ability when a close second to Go On Murt at Dundalk though she's another with no form on Turf but a bigger threat may emerge from Apache Gold. He scored on heavy ground at Gowran before running well enough at Killarney and his effort at Naas on Wednesday should be completely ignored as his run was stopped just as he was challenging. Bangalore Prince looks best of the remainder.
