Verdict

Jeremys Flame only won once over hurdles but she was second to Fiddlerontheroof in the Grade 1 Tolworth at Sandown in the spring. However, she got lit up at the start on her fencing bow at Fairyhouse and crumpled on landing after the first having over-jumped. That may have left its mark so ANDY DUFRESNE is preferred. Already a winner between the flags, Gordon Elliott’s six-year-old won twice over timber, including a Grade 2 at Punchestown in January, and looks just the type to thrive over the larger obstacles. Epson Du Houx is also unexposed and won over hurdles at Clonmel in February but Exit Poll didn’t get far on his chasing debut at Punchestown and may need a confidence-booster. Raya Time was another early casualty last time but Ilikedwayurthinkin is worth noting, though looks his owner’s second string.
