In depth

Verdict

Lilly The Lioness had an unusual preparation for this having finished fourth in a 1m4f handicap on the Flat at Tipperary. But she’s two from two on this track, including one over fences, and is a versatile sort who should be thereabouts again. Marchese Marconi has disappointed over fences so far, however, while Mr Picotee is 0-6 over the larger obstacles. Bitview Colin has place claims again but MULLINAVAT only found one too good over hurdles at Tramore earlier this month after winning over course and distance on his first run for Henry De Bromhead. Still nicely treated, he looks the one to beat today.
