In depth

Verdict

THE ABSENT MARE has her first start in Ireland for Gordon Elliott having transferred from the UK. She is on a very lowly mark and, with Luke Dempsey's claim a plus, she can get off the mark for new connections. Ellaway Rose has to concede her 30lb and though she managed to land a mares' chase here recently that was her first ever victory on her 29th start. All The Way Home appeared to enjoy the soft ground when scoring at Clonmel in February while Better B Quick was always struggling at Fairyhouse after being sent to Hexham and landing a moderate handicap. Old Supporter ran a shocker on his reappearance here and may need another run.
