Hardy Bloke won over timber here in March and was well supported for a Down Royal handicap chase from a much lower mark earlier this month but never really looked like winning. West Breeze won over hurdles at Clonmel in February and was made favourite for a handicap chase at Ballinrobe last time but found the two miles much too short. WALKING THE WALK looked like winning at Downpatrick a couple of weeks ago but faded on the run-in and was passed by Ocean Legacy, who is first reserve here. The winner would be the selection if getting a run but in his absence Gordon Elliott's charge can go one better. Secret Cargo won over the track and trip in June and would enjoy drying ground more than most.
