Verdict

Mackey Boy hasn't been particularly consistent but front-running tactics paid off at Limerick a month ago and the assessor hasn't been over harsh. Swift Lady was having her 16th start over hurdles when runner-up at Limerick and isn't certain to reproduce that form but Whiskey Hall comes here with a very good chance. He started favourite when just failing to hold off Peccatorum over 2m5f at Limerick so today's trip looks ideal. He'll give a good account but it's FAIRYMOUNT LORD who gets the nod. He's still a maiden but couldn't have got much closer at Down Royal last time and, as that was only his third start in over two years, he looks primed for his first success.
