Verdict

Waver was unfancied in Listed company at Limerick and duly finished last of four. Aidan O'Brien's charge will be more at home in this but has TEMPO MAC to beat. The latter won with plenty in hand at Clonmel last week and can defy a penalty and go in again. Wild Fern is facing a stiffer task upped in class off a 7lb higher mark after scoring at Ballinrobe and recent runners-up Crystal Earth and Who's Cross may prove bigger threats. The latter finished well ahead of Bashful Beauty at Limerick while maiden hurdle winner Pepparpot could prove best of the remainder.
