A number of these will be better for today’s experience but Christopher Robin has already had three runs over timber and he was third on his second start at Gowran behind a decent winner. He lost a shoe last time at Navan so that run is best ignored but THE LAST EMPEROR was a useful sort on the Flat for Roger Varian and Emmet Mullins is sure to have given him plenty of schooling. There is unlikely to be much pace in this and that Flat speed could be crucial. Jessica Harrington’s Fiveallin is out of a stayer but Mark Walsh is an interesting jockey booking.
