An excellent turnout for a moderate prize with most in good form. MT LEINSTER GOLD, unbeaten in her last three starts between the flags, made an impressive start over timber at Fairyhouse where she will have found 2m much too short. Hilltop Supreme has won four handicaps over hurdles and was brought down early in a chase at Down Royal. All have been around 2m4f but he's stayed on strongly so the extra shouldn't be a problem. Low Lie The Fields also scored twice at around that trip on testing going and is another likely to be suited by the step-up but Socially Distant scored over the minimum here last month. Junior Rattler also dropped down to the minimum when beating a big field in a Naas handicap though was placed three times between the flags. Walk Me Home has a course and distance victory to her credit and has continued in good form from her raised mark.
