MR MOONDANCE went up 7lb for winning over the course and distance in May but still ran well on softer ground at Roscommon later. He doesn't have much of a strike-rate but looks to have the beating of Drakaina on that run here though the latter had won over the course and distance earlier. Omega Springs is held by the latter on their run at Clonmel though appeared to show improved form when finishing very strongly on fast ground at Gowran. Touch Of Gold came very close to losing his maiden tag at that latter track when only a neck behind Sharlanda but could have done without a 3lb rise.
