Leading hunter James had been in good form before falling at Punchestown while Tiger Sam would have a chance at his best and ran a bit better on that track last time. Prosperity Square and Teds Island were behind in that latter event but KILCLISPEEN overcame trouble in-running to score at Downpatrick and though 7lb higher will take some beating in that kind of form. Adarenna hasn't shown much since scoring at Towcester in November but will enjoy the conditions more than most.
