Deor started favourite on his reappearance at Limerick but couldn't handle the heavy going and is best judged on his final start in a big field at Leopardstown in October. Improver has shown the odd glimpse of ability over hurdles while Rightdownthemiddle has been going well over fences and had ROCK THE WORLD two lengths behind at Listowel in September. But the latter was conceding 10lb and, as he ran an excellent race when runner-up in a tough Punchestown handicap last week, he looks the one to be on. Do Try Dolly will enjoy the quick conditions better than most and she has a real chance on her best form while the four-year-old Alterno made a successful hurdling debut here in March before finding Group 2 company much too tough. Blacklough is a useful jumper on his day and though well beaten in recent races that was in very strong company. The lightly-raced Regal Beauty could prove best of the remainder.
