Verdict

Steelambition made a very satisfactory debut over fences at Limerick last week, leading early then staying on strongly again in the latter stages to finish second to Ravenhill. The winner's yard is represented by DINONS, who completed a four-timer over hurdles last summer and made a successful chasing debut when long odds-on at Killarney. He's a nice prospect and gets the nod though he'll find this much tougher as Cooldine Bog also made a winning start over fences at Ballinrobe last month when buckling down to get up close home. Victoria Bay returned from a break to make an encouraging chasing debut at Cork and showed the benefit with a convincing victory at Killarney and her allowance will help while Or Jaune De Somoza should make a bold bid after a very good run behind the smart Farclas at Punchestown.
