Kapstadt has now won his last three over hurdles and run well on the Flat in between. He's much preferred to disappointing stablemate Gambol but could find the three-year-old HADFIELD (NAP) a tough nut to crack. John Ferguson's Sea The Stars gelding had no problem stepping into handicap company at Carlisle, beating prolific winner Shear Rock, and is probably improving quickly enough to defy his penalty. Another three-year-old, Cooper, would have each-way claims while Beatabout The Bush and Knight In Purple are previous course and distance winners. But the handicapper may have got to grips with Dynamic Drive and King Muro and the lightly-raced Brigadier Miller went backwards last season.
