We will opt for Danelor here ahead of Nyrche and Migration. Migration was second off a mark of 115 over hurdles last time, which sets a reasonable form benchmark for the others to aim at. However, Nyrche has looked decent in scoring twice over hurdles, should keep on progressing and should play a leading part in this contest. Adjawar, an 83-rated winner on the Flat at York a year ago, rates a danger, as does Richard Fahey's Danelor, a winner from a mark of 80 during the summer. He looks to hold solid credentials for a hurdling career and, accordingly, we will give him the call. Of the others, Tomasino showed some promise on her debut and ought to improve on that, while Theatre Night represents the Johnson-Wylie partnership, which has always to be respected. New Zealand import Stan showed promise on his debut here but more is needed. Royal Exposure showed some Flat promise, but King's Protector would have to show more over hurdles than he did on the Flat. Dubonai is an all-weather winner and, while clearly no world beater, it will be interesting to see how he fares, and Berrywhite showed some ability on the Flat too. However, the selection is Danelor.
