A tight-looking handicap but Edward Austin is starting look good value for his 7lb claim and has already ridden a winner this week. He gets the leg up on ALWAYS RESOLUTE (NAP) for his retainer in this and the former Brian Ellison-trained gelding is very well treated on his first start for the in-form Ian Williams. Sleepy Haven hasn’t won for a while but was only beaten a short-head at Hexham last week and Wind Place And Sho followed up a win at Fontwell last month with a second on the same track shortly after. Global Ruler is sure to have benefited from a run at Hereford while Age Of Glory won over track and trip in January. Blue Hussar is also a course winner but ran poorly here earlier this month.
