Verdict
White Coat had been running well on the all-weather but disappointed on his Turf debut at Redcar. REGULAR, who made a very promising start on that track in October, reappeared with a fine run at Kempton when just failing to hold off Balata Bay, who was receiving 9lb. Michael Bell's charge can go one better in receipt of lumps of weight from the four-year-old Masked Identity, who just failed to follow up his debut success at Wolverhampton on a return visit. Ellheidi was thought good enough to run in Listed company at Newmarket but disappointed on her final start at Yarmouth while Irreverent ran poorly on soft ground at Redcar after a much better run on good going there earlier.
