Verdict

Basford and Fringill Dike are penalised having made winning debuts at Carlisle and Hexham respectively. SPORTING ACE can take advantage having finished a close-up fifth in a bunch finish at Newbury on his debut under Rules and should be in the mix again with normal progress. Phantom Getaway and Sullivan's Brow are point-to-point winners worth noting while Grey Dawning is a brother to a winner over hurdles and a half-brother to a couple of others.
