    In depth

    Verdict

Laughing Jack looks sure to be winning over hurdles sooner rather than later judged on his debut at Warwick when beaten only a length in third. However, MICA MIKA's second at Kelso in October looks stronger form as the winner, Kie, has scored again since and Richard Fahey's charge gets the nod. Artisan was sent off favourite at Huntingdon for his first attempt at hurdling but could only manage third. He should be in the mix once again, while Cadore, a maiden on the Flat, has joined Lucinda Russell and is worth keeping an eye on for the future.
