Verdict

A small field for this one, and Sad Mad Bad gets the TEAMtalk vote over a trip and on ground that he will enjoy. Of the quartet, he looks to be least exposed and should be good enough to record an eighth chase win. Interdit is one of those consistent types who has been going up the handicap whilst not often winning. He seems to be in the handicapper's grip at the moment, though in this small field he does still have his chance. On the balance of its form it would be a surprise if Runaway Bishop were good enough of his present mark, and this trip looks like stretching his stamina to its limits, while Mohera King is more interesting. Though well beaten behind the useful Moss Harvey on his English debut, the former-Irish runner should step up on that today and go well.
