      Verdict

Big Casino is starting to come down the weights and is tried in a visor after disappointing at Taunton. Blinkers are applied to Romany Ryme, though he did run a little better last time at Kelso and Vasco D'Ycy only found one too good when stepping back up in trip at Carlisle. Vinny Gambini was third when Romany Ryme was pulled up at the same track last month but hasn't really looked to be on the verge of a breakthrough victory. GREENLAW made mistakes when proving no match for Smiles For Miles over track and trip in November but may have benefited from a short break so gets the nod to open his account over fences here ahead of course winner Green Wizard, back over the larger obstacles for first time since May last year.
