Verdict

Foster'sisland was only beaten a head in this last year but is still 4lb higher. Sam's Choice was having a first run for Rebecca Menzies when fourth over a shorter trip here last month but SANTOS BLUE’s second to Crambo at Aintree in October was franked when the winner landed the Long Walk at Ascot on Saturday and Ben Sutton’s mount won the novices’ handicap on this card 12 months ago. The Four Sixes is lightly raced and won for Gordon Elliott last season but makes his debut today for Olly Murphy.
