Verdict

No Through Road has been cleverly placed to win four times in the last three months. Another victory isn't out of the question but he's now 30lb higher than when his winning run began and the equally in-form RUNSWICK DAYS looks better treated. John Wade's charge has yet to win away from Sedgefield and had to be ridden out to get the better of Silver Vogue last time but did give the impression there was more in the locker. Cottiers Den ran well enough on his reappearance at Hexham to suggest he can make the frame again but Silver Dragon had no excuses for a poor run last time off today's mark.
