Dr Irv finished ahead of Miss Macnamara, Hot Spice and Be Perfect over a longer trip at York in October and could have place claims on his return to action. Poetic Verse made a satisfactory reappearance at Catterick while Stopped Out has been jumping. So has Istimraar while Cool Sky has won off a higher mark in the past and wouldn't be out of this. STANARLEY PIC won twice on good going at Hamilton in September and remains comparatively unexposed. He doesn't look at all badly treated on his reappearance and should get into the mix if fully wound up.
