It is never easy for horses under penalties in bumpers but Lambrini Legend did everything asked of him when scoring in good fashion at Uttoxeter on a soft surface earlier this month and is taken to follow up at the main expense of Magic Blade and Nippy Air. The last mentioned, a son of Distinctly North, looks to be the pick of Keith Reveley's two runners but is far from certain to go on the ground so may be best watched. Stablemate Saddlers' Harmony has given little sign of encouragement in three starts so far, while Lynne's Gift makes only limited appeal on pedigree. A market move for Tom Tate's newcomer Magic Blade would be of interest but he has a pedigree that would suggest a faster surface would be more preferable and the vote instead goes to Lambrini Legend, who is taken to follow up his Uttoxeter success.
