Verdict

Coole Well has a penalty but sets a decent standard in one of the card’s most competitive races, though all of his form is on soft going. POGUE can land this for Donald McCain as he’s almost certain to improve on a third at Bangor, where he gave the impression a drop back to 2m would suit. Kingofthecotswolds was a little keen at Newbury but shaped with promise. Jockey bookings would suggest Captain Moirette is the pick of Sue Smith’s duo and Elton Des Mottes is also worth a market check but Daario Naharis weakened quickly on his hurdles bow at Huntingdon.
