In depth

Verdict

Given the exploits of his siblings, Peter Carberry has a lot to live up to but is already a young rider in demand and can notch another winner here aboard KING BENNY. Elliot Cooper's charge was well backed when fourth at Southwell last week and this looks a weaker race. Sambelucky won at Catterick last month but couldn't justify favouritism at Ayr subsequently and has been raised a further 4lb since. Rhyton won on the Flat last year but needs to show plenty of improvement on what he's achieved over hurdles so far to figure while Lightening Fire disappointed at Exeter last time, though the nine-year-old is entitled to be thereabouts on his best form.
