Pongo Twistleton showed some improvement in a light campaign on the Flat and attracted support for his hurdling debut at Worcester in August and though well beaten will have come on for the experience. He looks best of those with experience though that isn't saying much. Forth Bridge won a Haydock maiden on fast going in June but doesn't have a jumps pedigree while Hint Of Grey disappointed on several occasions on the Flat after a couple of victories in minor company. Norse Magic showed her best form on the Flat on soft ground so she'll be at home in the conditions while Coeur de Lion was a progressive type in a light career on the level and is just the type his trainer does so well with. INDIROCCO is the only one of these with no racecourse experience but he has a superb pedigree being a half-brother to a Group 1 winner on the Flat and the very useful hurdler Irvine so he's taken to make a successful debut.
