In depth

Verdict

Milans Edge went for £40,000 at the sales and has joined Donald McCain after easily landing a point-to-point at Tinahely in October. HAUTE ESTIME never looked like getting to the long odds-on Eileendover over 1m4f here in December and was beaten 16 lengths but the winner then easily won a Listed race at Market Rasen and Lucinda Russell's charge should go one better. The remainder with experience have shown nothing so Milianapower, a half-sister to five winners on the Flat, may be good enough to run into a place.
