Verdict
RIVER PURPLE attempts to shrug off a penalty for last week's victory over a shorter trip here. John Mackie's charge looks to have every chance of doing so given the runner-up Trouble In Paris was beaten over four lengths with Yukon Delta and Miss Sunflower further behind. Hero's Call looks a bigger threat on better terms with the selection for a seven length defeat at Uttoxeter in December while Sir Lynx can get involved if reproducing his earlier second to Dashing George in a higher grade at Fakenham.
