In depth

Verdict

Good For Blue, a winner over 2m5f at Huntingdon a year ago, ran well for a long way on his return at the same track in January and can carry his big weight with distinction. Wheyeye has been raised 5lb for scoring over the C&D in October which gives third-placed Auberge a fair chance of overturning the form, especially as she's since run well over further at Musselburgh. The veteran Oniz Tiptoes was having the 78th race of his career when runner-up at Sedgefield and is probably capable of scoring again from this mark. MOON MELODY is 3lb out of the handicap but has been running well enough over fences and hurdles and was having his first start since September when a close second to Bocciani at Catterick last week.
