Tomngerry couldn’t fail to win a match on Fibresand last time but hadn’t been beaten far at Carlisle the time before, despite only beating one home. ISAACSTOWN LAD started favourite when Eminent Poet won at Haydock in December but fell at halfway when travelling strongly. That was an uncharacteristic error and he was back on song at the Lancashire track last month and loves the mud. Warthog remains unexposed but looks a chaser in the making. Dedigout has gone close the last twice at Ayr but is upped in grade for this off a 5lb higher mark.
