In depth

Verdict

Kelpie Spirit makes a quick reappearance after finishing a close second at Musselburgh on Saturday and has to go on the short-list if fully recovered. Hollywood Harry is usually thereabouts and Secret Memories was second at Bath last month, despite her rider dropping his whip. FAIRY LOCK (NAP) was just beaten in a big field at Redcar the last time she encountered fast ground. She’s run well since at Newcastle and Nottingham and can finally open her account here. Beverley third Orientelle can make the frame again with Lewis Edmunds taking off 5lb.
