Almost Gemini completed a hat-trick on Polytrack last summer and didn't look suited to heavy ground on his hurdling bow at Chepstow so should do better. Askamore Darsi landed a Uttoxeter bumper in December and showed promise on his hurdling bow over the minimum trip before a very poor run over today's distance at Ayr. Native Spa hasn't shown much and was only third of four at Newcastle last time but Cinnomhor ran well for a long way at Doncaster and will be suited by the trip. This could revolve around whether RENDEZVOUS PEAK stays the distance as he was making his hurdling debut over the minimum at Southwell last month where he travelled well for much of the race. He could prove better than these in time and gets the vote in a moderate contest.
