In depth

Verdict

Patrick Griffin has sent Heist over from County Dublin in attempt to record a third win in the UK. But he's returning from a break, as are Super Collider and Never Up. Celtic Agent and Tom Wade have even longer absences to overcome while Polarbrook has been struggling in lesser company. Boldbob won at Cartmel last summer but has shown little since. Flat winner CACTUS VALLEY has only been placed once in five races over timber but that was last time at Kelso. He may be getting the hang of things and this looks a good opportunity.
