In depth

Verdict

Frankie Ballou has been knocking on the door lately, including over course and distance last time, but is still looking a few pounds too high and could face a battle for the lead from King Golan. Roxboro Road attracted market support on his first run for Ben Haslam at Ayr but was never travelling and pulled up and looks a tricky sort. Well Smitten is hard to catch right but slipping down the weights again, though LADY MASTER looks more reliable. She won here last season and has been in good form lately at Market Rasen.
