Verdict

Mount Mews has yet to recapture the sparkle and promise of his novice hurdle days and has a stiff task off topweight. The Kirby yard has yet to find it's true form this term but SAKHEE'S CITY ran a cracker on his reappearance when runner-up to the very promising Mr Scrumpy and will be hard to overcome if repeating that level off this 2lb higher mark over the same trip and ground. The Alexander horses are going along well at present and last month's Hexham scorer, Ryedale Racer, should be in the mix despite a 6lb rise for that victory, whilst Applaus has found form again since going back to MIcky Hammond and rates a player in receipt of weight all round.
