In depth

Verdict

ALWAHSH was headed close home at Yarmouth on his reappearance and the Willian Haggas-trained colt is taken to go one better over this longer trip. Jim Crowley prefers the selection to Newmarket fifth Dawaaleeb while Charlie Appleby runs two with Powderhouse, a newcomer and half-brother to a Group 2 winner preferred to Pilgrim's Treasure. Bicolour is related to a Grade 3 winner in the US while Mod is a half-sister to a Listed winner and are other newcomers to keep an eye on.
