Babe Heffron won over 2m6f back in 2009 but his best recent form has been over the minimum trip including his latest victory at Lingfield. Dawn Ride has won four times over these fences but over longer distances than he's faced with here and preference goes to OCARINA. James Ewart's chaser bounced back to form last year with a couple of wins over the extended 2m4f trip at Hexham and had excuses when stepped up to 3m at Newcastle last time. He can return to winning ways here. Hexham winner Baltic Pathfinder has scope for improvement but Deuteronomy couldn't cope with a 9lb rise for an earlier win when a well beaten second at Uttoxeter last time.
