    Verdict

CANDLE can blow his rivals away and he is nominated over Bogside Theatre and Itstooearly. Tom George has had a slow start to the season but he has had a couple of placed runners in the last few days and this looks a good opportunity for Candle to record another success. He was a winner when last seen out over hurdles back in July but race fitness will not be an issue as he has had a couple of runs since then on the flat. Bogside Theatre was beaten out of sight on the flat at Southwell last month but she is having only her third start over hurdles here and she will relish these ground conditions. Itstooearly bounced back to form at Kelso last month but she appears to have more on her plate here and she may have to settle for a place. Carmela Maria faded tamely on her hurdling debut here last month but she is dropped in trip and that may suit. She could be worth consideration, but the vote is given to Candle.
