Verdict

DON'T BE SO SAKHEE is our selection with Kealshore Lass and Sir Mulberry Hawk the others to make our shortlist. Jedd O'Keefe isn't exactly the most prolific of trainers but this daughter of Sakhee has been bred with the flat very much in mind and she will be partnered by Matthew Dickinson, a highly promising rider that has done well in events of this nature in the past. Kealshore Lass won a soft ground bumper at the track. Her rider is entitled to claim 3lbs as he is riding for his own stable. Rhys Flint rates an eyecatching booking for Sir Mulberry Hawk. The horse was entitled to need his first run back for 301 days and it would be no surprise to see him put in as a warm favourite. Stronghaven cost 80000 euros at the sales but it would be no surprise to see him needing a racecourse education today. Ballybriggan is a half brother to useful dual purpose mare, Inver Lady, and could literally be anything. Stopped Out was out of his depth at Cheltenham last time out though did win a bumper at this course over 1m5f. Catapult King appears best of the rest. A race where it is difficult to be dogmatic about anything and Don't Be So Sakhee is a speculative selection under the circumstances.
