Verdict

David Pipe's Jazz Age is nothing out of the ordinary but neither are the opposition and he has solid claims dropped into this grade but is unlikely to represent much in the way of value so a better bet may be VENTURE GIRL, who gets the vote. Tim Easterby's filly disappointed when highly tried in a better race than this at Haydock last time but earlier form over course and distance is solid and she looks worth chancing. Moonbalej ran much better in a claimer at Plumpton recently when sent off at 50/1 and will be a lot shorter today, while Tim Pitt's Bojangles Andrews will need to improve better than when pulled up at Uttoxeter last month. Sue Smith's Green For Luck was capable on the flat but has yet to reproduce a similar level of form over hurdles.
