Rookery Lad, Karo de Vindecy and Manoram will fight this one out with the last named getting the vote. Manoram has not won since May of last year but he comes good at this time of the year. The stable are having winners at present and the horse showed signs of coming back to form when third behind Jodante at Worcester last time out so is one to note in the market. Karo de Vindecy is another summer jumper who ran a blinder on his seasonal reappearance when second at Perth behind Master Papa last time out. He will come on for that and will have to go close. Rookery Lad won last time out over course and distance but now carries a seven penalty for his troubles that will make things tougher for him here but connections must feel confident as to run him prior to being reassessed so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner return to Manoram.
